004: Intentional Good

Published on: 28th August, 2018

Titus 3:8b,14  And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone. … Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order to provide for urgent needs and not live unproductive lives.

Paul wants to make a point as he wraps up his letter to Titus. He emphasizes and stresses not only the importance of doing what is good but the need to be devoted to the good. We must be intentional about doing good. It is something we learn and practice doing. Unfortunately, we do not always do all the good that we can. We have an enemy who is determined to keep us from the good. But, when we fail to do the good, we have a gracious God who will pick us up and set us back on the path once again.

Jeremy tells a story of his own determination to do the good, his failure to accomplish it, and the grace of God that sets him on the path once again. Join him on the journey and keep on living unleashed.
